I came to travel nursing rather late in my career. I wish I had done this years ago! My daughter is a nurse and she traveled, and she had such bad exeriences, that I didn't think I would like it. I couldn't have been more wrong.
I could tell you how wonderful this hospital is, but there are good to great hospitals everywhere. I could tell you that the people out here are wonderful to work with, but good people are everywhere. I could tell you that I have had the opportunity to observe and even interact with the great Sandhill Crane migration that only happens in one place in the whole world. I could describe for you the wondorous beauty of this wild and, at times, desolate west. I could tell you about the congregation of bald eagles that entertained me this winter, the song of the geese in the morning as they make their way back north, the network of lakes and reservoirs in this semi-desert area that encourage a vast array of wildlife that are just as curious about you as you are of them. I could describe how outgoing the population has been and how they welcomed me with near open arms.
I could go on and on, but the fact is that I got to experience what I did, and so thoroughly enjoy the assignments I have had because of The PARX Group and, my recruiter, Lindsay Aichler. I have not had one moment when I had to worry about how things were going on the "business" end. My company and recruiter made this experience so very wonderful. I have no concerns that were not immediately addressed, usually having an answer to my questions within hours. They touch base and are always concerned that my experience is a good one. We have traded jokes via email, and they have patiently read my reviews of the area and waded through tons of pictures. I don't think I will ever travel with anyone else. These are good people and my nursing experience is better for having them involved. I have been able to enjoy and experience all that this area has to offer to the limits it has because I have never--not even once--had to worry or have any concern whatsoever about the job or contract. They have been wonderful, and Lindsay rocks!
